In addition to the Gold Lions from the Venice and Cannes festivals, the Serbian market received its own Golden Lion: the first beer with an active participation of the consumers in the creation process

That consumers always come first, Carlsberg proved by launching the first beer whose creation was conducted with the active participation of consumers through a series of tests and evaluations of various flavors. Our task was to develop the brand identity and packaging design for this innovative product. Looking for a solution that clearly emphasizes its uniqueness but also its connection to products from the current Lav portfolio, we arrived at an alchemical discovery, and so Zlatni Lav (Gold Lion) was born.

In addition to the new color coding, the uniqueness of Zlatni Lav was achieved through a modernized treatment of the brand icon. The distinctive royal blue color, in combination with the gold of the lion illustration, give the impression of luxury and enhance visibility at the point of sale. We further emphasized the premium brand name with a more stylized, refined label compared to the master brand label.
